So far I had learnt about the major chakras only. Today, my aunt told me about the minor chakras or subchakras in brief. Every major chakra is said to have one or more subchakras. Not only this, the subchakras also have subchakras under them. This was quite surprising for me because I had thought there are only eleven major chakras and a few of minor chakras in our body. But, the information on subchakras having more subchakras or mini-chakras was something new that I got to learn at this level.
In the book, an example is given about the basic chakra which has its subchakras in arms and legs. Basic chakra’s subchakra the hand minor chakra has its minichakras or subchakras located in the fingertips and on the knuckles of the fingers. The fingertips’ chakras are known as finger minichakras.
Like this, the chakras, subchakras and minichakras are spread across the human body. These energy centers are similar to acupuncture points. If a practitioner is aware about the location, role and functions of these chakras, he or she can do healing for any patient with ease. So, it’s very important to understand and know the role and functions of chakras in the human body.
