How to Identify Ailments through Pranic Healing - Day 26

At the basic level of pranic healing, students are taught to spot problem in any chakra by scanning for congestion or depletion of energy in that part. At the advanced level, students are trained to analyze the condition of any chakra from three different angles including congestion or depletion. The other two include:

1. Overactive or underactive chakra
2.  Presence of unsuitable kind or degree of pranic energy in the chakras

Whether a particular chakra is underactive or overactive can be determined by comparing its size with other chakras in the body. For instance, if the solar plexus chakra of a person is six inches and other chakras are approximately four inches in size, it means the solar plexus chakra is overactive. An overactivated chakra can be brought to its normal size by thorough cleansing.

As far as the existence of unsuitable kind or degree of pranic energy in the chakras is concerned, an example of the presence of red prana in the ajna and throat chakras is cited in the book. Ajna chakra either has light yellow and light violet pranas or whitish green and light violet pranas. Similar is the case with throat chakra which has maximum amount of blue prana along with some portion of green and violet pranas. So, both the chakras are not supposed to have red prana and if the red prana is there, it indicates a problem.

These are the three vital points that any advanced level healer needs to keep in mind while scanning a patient’s body.
