Healing for Depression

With everyday grind taking its toll on mental and physical health, depression has seemingly become a common illness in today’s society. When you are depressed, you feel sad, anxious, pessimistic, irritable, restless, empty, and many such emotions. This disorder can be physical or psychological and may manifest in different degrees from moderate to severe. The physical symptoms of depression can be attributed to seasonal changes. For example, in winter, many people feel low because of the absence of adequate amount of vital energy (prana) in the atmosphere. As far as the psychological factors are concerned, stress can be cited as one.

Whether depression manifests in anyone due to physical or psychological factors, pranic healing techniques are found to be effective in treating it. And, since it’s an alternative treatment procedure, you can take its session along with mainstream medical help without hesitation.

Pranic healing for treating depression

Depression is a mental disorder and hence, to cure this condition, pranic psychotherapy is used. Pranic psychotherapy applies pranic healing techniques to heal and reduce mental and emotional inequity caused by negative emotions or traumatic experiences pent up in the aura and energy wheels. The treatment enables you to release those bottled up energy safely, thereby restoring your mental and emotional equilibrium.

This means whether you are suffering from physical depression or psychological depression pranic psychotherapy can be useful. Now, let’s take a look at the procedures.

Pranic psychotherapy for physical signs of depression

A person suffering from depression is found to have depletion in energy body. Due to low energy levels, the person may feel physically weak. The chakras that are mostly affected include solar plexus, spleen, navel and basic. But, before starting, it’s important to scan every area carefully followed by sweeping, energizing and re-scanning. The steps are mentioned below:

Step-wise treatment

First, talk to your patient, make him comfortable. Scan all the main chakras.

Second, start with general sweeping, covering the entire aura of the person.

Third, apply localized sweeping on solar plexus, spleen, basic and navel chakras along with hand and sole chakras. If you are experienced, you can use color techniques for cleaning. After cleaning work is done, energize chakras that are safe and re-scan everything.

Note: This treatment can be administered twice a week or more depending on the patient’s condition.

Pranic psychotherapy for psychological signs of depression

When depression is caused by psychological factors and the intensity of it is severe, you will find that patient’s chakras reduce in size and become inhibited. Energy level also goes down and the person is filled with low confidence, fear and self-doubt.

The psychological signs will be treated almost the same way the physical factors of depression were treated. It’s just that stress energy or traumatic energy along with negative thoughts including fear, lack of confidence and so on, will have to be extracted from solar plexus, third eye, crown and throat chakras. Also, heart chakra needs to be activated and ajna chakra be energized and activated. While activation of heart chakra will boost peace and calmness, energizing and activation of ajna will strengthen his will power. Here are the steps:

Step-wise treatment

  • Talk to your patient, make him comfortable. Scan all the main chakras.
  • Start with general sweeping, covering the entire aura of the person.
  • Apply localized sweeping on front and back heart chakras; when thoroughly cleansed, energize heart through the back heart chakra.
  • Sweep the entire head area covering crown and ajna chakras. Also, clean solar plexus chakras. While cleansing, imagine you are removing all negative thoughts, stress and traumatic energy from the chakras. After the cleaning is done, you can give energy to these chakras.

(Note: If the person exhibits anger or violent behavior, it may be because his solar plexus chakras and meng mein chakras have become overactive. So, scan them well and then inhibit them.)

This procedure can be done many times a week and results can manifest early or late depending on person’s response to the treatment as well as your healing acumen. As a healer, you would also need to have confidence in your technique and be positive.

Additional pranic treatment tips for depression

Along with doing pranic healing for depression, recommend your patient meditation, physical exercises, breathing, etc. These form a complementary part of the treatment and can help induce faster results.

Meditation

In the beginning, you can ask him to start with typical meditation practices, in which the person sits straight with his spine around one inch away from the chair and his feet resting flat on the pavement, his eyes close and mind observant of his breathing pattern (inhale and exhale). Let him know beforehand that his mind can distract, but that’s normal. He should acknowledge this state and focus on his breathing. Calmness will soon set in. He can do this on alternative days for 15 minutes initially and once the habit is cultivated, he can increase his timing from 15 to 20 or 30 minutes every day.

Physical exercises and breathing cycles

Combining meditation efforts with physical exercises will yield even better results. So, suggest him some physical exercises, like upper body twisting, arm movements, waist and knee work outs, etc. Regular practice of physical exercises will give his body some strength and help in improving the condition of his chakras, blood flow and other elements. With physical exercises if he does breathing cycles, it will be great. Healthy breathing keeps a person calm and fresh. It helps wash out negativity and toxic thoughts from mind. Also, it takes care of the overall well-being of the person. Guide him on how to watch out his breathing pattern. Help him with inhalation and exhalation.

(Note: The patient can show resistance or may not readily accept your suggestions. If you notice any such behavior, try to counsel him, encourage him to change certain habits and get him to trust that things will soon improve and with positive approach, results can be achieved faster than expected.)
