Practice Session - Day 19

After meditation, we were all led to a practice session. Our trainer asked us to activate our palm chakras first by clapping and rubbing if no pressure seemed to be building between them. He said that healing consists of three stages such as scanning, cleansing and energizing.

Scanning is important because it helps you understand which part/ organ of the body or chakra is congested or depleted. Cleansing is required for removing congestion or depletion from the affected part. Energizing is important for it infuses fresh energy in the required body part or chakra of the patient.

I was in this impression that we have to project energy in a patient’s body only if his or her energy level is down or depleted. But, I was wrong. Trainer cleared the doubt by mentioning when we cleanse a particular chakra or organ, the area becomes empty. Now, if you don’t fill it with fresh energy immediately after cleansing, it may get filled with energy flowing in from some other source (read organ/ chakra) which is yet to be cleansed. So, whether it’s congestion or depletion, you have to give energy to a patient’s body including chakras and organs as required.

With this, the practice session proceeded.
