The trainer resumed the discussion on the chakras. He told us that there are 11 major chakras in our energy body and each performs specific function. These are – basic chakra, sex chakra, meng mein chakra, navel chakra, spleen chakra, solar plexus chakra, heart chakra, throat chakra, ajna chakra, forehead chakra and crown chakra. As mentioned earlier, all these chakras are 3 to 4 inches in size in their healthy condition.
Due to depletion or congestion of energy, the normal size of the chakras gets affected. If the level of energy is down or less than the required amount in your body, the diameter of the chakras gets reduced; and, if energy gets accumulated at one place and doesn’t flow, it increases the size of the particular chakra from its normal standard. The trainer said that both of these conditions are not good for health as these indicate system imbalance.
I was patiently listening to him and was noting down all the points with care. I knew these basic points will prove helpful in the long run when we actually start practicing the art of pranic healing. Since I don’t speak much in large groups because of my introvert nature, I couldn’t ask the trainer – “how can we measure this difference?” But, thankfully some participants didn’t hesitate to ask this. The trainer smiled in his typical yet charming style and asked us to wait. He said he will come to this point but bit later. We also didn’t insist much and the discussion went interrupted.
