The Basics - Day 2

I gave a call to my friend and asked her to collect details for the next Pranic Healing workshop. I had kind of threatened her that if she does not do this for me, I will probably break my friendship with her. Today, whenever I am reminded of this incident, I feel somewhat embarrassed but definitely happy too. It was the call of destiny for me; and you know when you are destined to do something, nature in its own style makes a way for it. With the help of my friend, I joined the 2-days workshop on the basics of Pranic Healing.

Clouds Again

Like she had mentioned earlier, our group was also taken to the rooftop and shown the patches of cloud. No doubt the exercise, the question, and the answers were all similar, but I was experiencing it for myself, and that made me happy. When we returned to our class for the next exercise, the instructor said - "You all saw the pranas floating in the sky, outside your body; now it’s time to feel it inside your body. Those who are very sensitive will feel it in an instant and others may have to put in extra effort. Even if it takes you sometime to feel it, give it a try, but with faith and hope".

Feeling the Energy

He asked us to face each other, raise our hands to the chest level, and focus on the center of the palms. "Did you all feel anything?", he asked. Of a batch of 30- 40 students, only one woman said "Yes". On being asked about her experience, she replied "I felt a kind of pressure building between the center of my palms". The trainer smiled. He asked others who could not sense the pressure to rub the center of their palms with their thumb, and pat them to activate the chakras (the energy centers). We did as he instructed, and finally all of us could feel the pressure that he was talking about, a magnetic force. He said, "That’s energy. I'm glad all of you could sense it".

We got so busy exulting in this achievement of ours that we forgot to ask him anything else. The trainer too did not interrupt us for at least five to ten minutes. He let us enjoy that moment to make our journey easy and interesting. After that session, we took a short tea break and returned to delve deeper into the basics of Pranic Healing.
