Beginners or basic level practitioners use white prana or general prana to energize chakras, whereas advanced level healers apply color pranas to treat any patient. According to Masters, a healer should use light and not the dark shades of the color pranas (including red, orange, blue, violet, yellow, and green). Use of dark color pranas may cause harm to a patient’s body because of their intense nature. But, light or pastel shades of these six pranas are richer in healing properties.
The effectiveness of the light color pranas can further be increased by adding white prana with them. For instance, if a healer has to use light orange prana, he or she can visualize the periphery of the prana as light orange and its center as white. My aunt said that Masters say this is a safe and better way of using color pranas in healing. Imagining white prana at the core of color prana is logical because all the color pranas come from the white prana itself.
So, a healer can combine 70% of white prana with 30% of light color prana for healing purposes. At some rare occasions, only light color pranas without white prana can also be used, though.
