Knowing Qualities and Application of Color Pranas - Day 6

In the first session of the advanced pranic healing course, my aunt said “now you know about the different ways to use color pranas while treating any patient.” But, do you know when a particular color prana should be applied and why? Well, I realized that I didn’t pay enough attention to this relevant aspect. I felt little embarrassed also, but tried not to show it. My aunt, however, caught my embarrassment and said there is nothing to feel embarrassed about. It’s okay.

Coming back to the main point, it’s as much important to know the nature and application of the color pranas as the techniques to use them. Each color prana has certain inherent qualities or properties. For example, red is known for its stimulating, activating, strengthening and warm properties, whereas orange is known for its cleansing, melting, and decongesting nature. Similarly, other color pranas also have different properties.

It is based on the basic nature of the color pranas, a healer has to decide where a particular energy should be used and where it shouldn’t be. Since all the color pranas have so many different properties and functions, it will be convenient to take one color prana at a time in detail.

So, my next few blog posts will be focused on the qualities and application of the color pranas.
