After telling me about the possible combinations of color pranas that can be used in healing, my aunt came to the point of eleven chakras. Like I had already mentioned in my previous blog post on chakras under the basic pranic healing section, there are eleven major chakras or energy centers in our body. They are basic chakra, sex chakra, meng mein chakra, navel chakra, spleen chakra, solar plexus chakra, heart chakra, throat chakra, ajna chakra, forehead chakra and crown chakra. The chakras measure up to 3 to 4 inches in size in their healthy condition.
Since the role and functions of chakras had already been covered extensively in the basic course, my aunt discussed them in brief with some additional information. At advanced level, a healer gets to learn about the type of color prana each chakra features. For example, basic chakra consists of red, orange and a very minute degree of yellow pranas. A healer can use the red prana from his/ her basic chakra to energize and strengthen the whole visible physical body.
The sex chakra features red and orange pranas. The red prana contained in the sex chakra has two shades. Meng Mein Chakra is filled with more of orange and less of red prana. It also has a little amount of blue and yellow pranas.
After this, I was given a short ten minutes break to go through these chakras.
